For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. Showers and thunderstorms associated with a broad area of low
pressure located about 900 miles southwest of the southern tip of
the Baja California peninsula have become more concentrated during
the past several hours.  However, recent satellite wind data
indicate that the system does not have a well-defined circulation.
Some additional development of this system is possible today before
upper-level winds become unfavorable.  This system is expected to
move generally westward during the next few days.

* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...40 percent.
