For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Erick, located in the far southwestern region of the basin,
and on Tropical Storm Flossie, located several hundred miles
south-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California
Peninsula.

1. A large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms centered
several hundred miles south of Acapulco is associated with a
tropical wave.  Upper-level winds could become marginally conducive
for development in a few days while the system moves quickly
west-northwestward, well to the southwest of the coast of Mexico.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.
