For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Depression Cosme, located several hundred miles west-southwest of
the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula.

1. An area of low pressure could develop several hundred miles south
of the coast of southern Mexico in a few days.  Some slow
development of this system is possible late this week while the
disturbance moves westward to west-northwestward.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.
