For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:
1. An area of low pressure may form a couple hundred miles south of the
southern tip of the Baja California peninsula late this week
in association with the remnants of Atlantic Tropical Storm Franklin
after it moves across southern Mexico. Environmental conditions may
be conducive for some re-development of the system, while it moves
toward the west-northwest or northwest at about 10 mph.
