For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. A broad area of disturbed weather is located several hundred miles
southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula.
A low pressure area is forecast to form over the weekend while it
moves generally westward.  Some subsequent development of this
system is possible by early next week.
