For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. A small low pressure area is located about 900 miles southwest of
the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula.  The low is
forecast to merge with a larger area of disturbed weather farther
west in a couple of days, and some slow development of that system
is possible this weekend or early next week while it moves generally
westward.
