For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane
Darby, located over 1200 miles west of the southern tip of the Baja
California peninsula, and on Tropical Storm Estelle, located nearly
500 miles south-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California
peninsula.
1. An area of low pressure is expected to form well south of the Gulf
of Tehuantepec in a couple of days. Environmental conditions are
forecast to be conducive for development, and a tropical depression
could form by late this week while the low moves west-northwestward
at about 10 mph.

* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...50 percent
2. A trough of low pressure located several hundred miles
south-southwest of Acapulco, Mexico, is producing disorganized
shower activity. Some slow development of this system is possible
later this week while it moves westward at about 10 mph.
