For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane
Blas, located about 1350 miles west-southwest of the southern tip
of the Baja California peninsula, and on recently upgraded Tropical
Storm Celia, located about 750 miles south of the southern
tip of the Baja California peninsula.

1. An area of low pressure is expected to form early next week several
hundred miles southwest of the coast of Mexico.  Some subsequent
development of this system is possible while it moves westward to
west-northwestward.
