For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on category 5
Hurricane Patricia, located inland over southwestern Mexico about 50
miles west-northwest of Manzanillo and about 135 miles southwest of
Guadalajara.

1. An area of low pressure could form several hundred miles
south-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California
peninsula over the weekend.  Development of this system is expected
to be slow to occur during the next few days while it moves slowly
toward the east-northeast or northeast.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent
