ZCZC MIATWOEP ALL TTAA00 KNHC DDHHMM TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 1100 PM PDT WED OCT 7 2015 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The Central Pacific Hurricane Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, is issuing advisories on Hurricane Oho, located about a thousand miles northeast of the Hawaiian Islands. Oho is expected to move into the eastern North Pacific basin, possibly as a tropical cyclone, on Thursday. 1. Shower and thunderstorm activity has not become much better organized in association with a tropical wave located about 1250 miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. However, environmental conditions are forecast to be conducive for development, and a tropical depression is likely to form by early next week while the system moves west-northwestward at 15 to 20 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...40 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...high...70 percent Forecaster Pasch
