TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Depression Twelve-E, located well east-southeast of the Hawaiian
Islands.

1. Showers and thunderstorms associated with a low pressure area
located about 575 miles south-southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, are
showing signs of organization.  Environmental conditions are
conducive for additional development of this system, and a tropical
depression is likely to form in a couple of days while the low moves
west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...50 percent
* Formation chance through 5 days...high...90 percent

Public Advisories on Twelve-E are issued under WMO header WTPZ32
KNHC and under AWIPS header MIATCPEP2.  Forecast/Advisories are
issued under WMO header WTPZ22 KNHC and under AWIPS header
MIATCMEP2.
