For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. A large area of cloudiness and disorganized showers located several
hundred miles south-southwest of Acapulco, Mexico, is associated
with a trough of low pressure.  Some gradual development of this
system is possible during the next few days while it moves westward
to west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...30 percent.
