For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180W:

1. The National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida is tracking a
tropical wave located about 1100 miles south-southwest of the
southern tip of the Baja California peninsula which is producing a
broad area of cloudiness and disorganized showers. Upper-level
winds are expected to become more conducive for development during
the next few days, and a tropical depression coud form early next
week while the disturbance moves westward to west-northwestward at
10 to 15 mph.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...50 percent.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through the next 5
days.
