For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

1. A weak area of low pressure, associated with the remnants of eastern
Pacific Tropical Storm Beatriz, is located over the southwestern
Gulf of Mexico about 250 miles east of Tampico, Mexico.  Strong
upper-level winds have displaced the associated cloudiness and
showers well to the east of the center, and tropical cyclone
formation is not expected. For additional information on this

Weather Service.
