For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. Central Portion of the East Pacific:
An area of low pressure located a few hundred miles southwest of the
coast of southwestern Mexico is producing disorganized showers and
thunderstorms displaced northeast of the center due to strong
upper-level winds. Development, if any, should be slow to occur over
the next couple of days while the system moves slowly eastward or
east-northeastward.
