Tropical Weather Outlook
NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL
1000 PM PST Sun Nov 3 2024

For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. Southwest of Southwestern Mexico (EP93):
Showers and thunderstorms associated with an area of low pressure
located several hundred miles south of the southern tip of the
Baja California peninsula have diminished during the past several
hours. Although environmental conditions appear marginally
conducive for development, only a slight increase in the
organization of the shower and thunderstorm activity could result
in the formation of a tropical depression. The low is expected to
begin an eastward drift during the next day or so.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...high...70 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days...high...70 percent.
