For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. Offshore of Southern Mexico and Central America:
A broad area of low pressure could form late this week a couple of 
hundred miles off the coast of southern Mexico or Guatemala.  Some 
slow development is possible this weekend and early next week while 
the system meanders near the coast.
