TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 500 PM PDT WED OCT 29 2014 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: 1. Recent satellite images suggest that the low pressure area located several hundred miles south of Acapulco, Mexico, may be developing a better defined center of circulation. If this trend continues, then the low would likely become a tropical depression tonight or on Thursday while it moves generally westward at about 5 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...high...near 100 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...near 100 percent.
