ZCZC MIATWOAT ALL TTAA00 KNHC DDHHMM TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 200 AM EDT WED SEP 23 2015 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Ida, located about 1000 miles east-northeast of the northern Leeward Islands. 1. An elongated area of low pressure centered a couple of hundred miles south of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, continues to produce disorganized showers and a few thunderstorms. This system is forecast to move slowly west-southwestward and reach the coasts of Georgia and South Carolina in a couple of days, but development is not expected before that time due to unfavorable upper-level winds.
