For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

Active Systems:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on recently 
upgraded Tropical Storm Dora, located several hundred miles off 
the southwestern coast of Mexico.

1. Central East Pacific:
Shower and thunderstorm activity has mostly dissipated in 
association with a small area of low pressure located about 1300 
miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California 
Peninsula.  Significant development of this system is not expected 
due to nearby dry air while the low moves westward at 5 to 10 mph 
and gradually dissipates over the next couple of days.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days...low...near 0 percent.

2. South of Southwestern Mexico:
An area of low pressure could form late this week a few hundred 
miles south of the coast of southwestern Mexico. Thereafter, some 
gradual development of this system is possible, and a tropical 
depression could form by early next week while it moves 
west-northwestward or northwestward, roughly parallel to the 
southwestern coast of Mexico.
