000 ABPZ20 KNHC 032321 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 PM PDT Thu Aug 3 2023 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: Active Systems: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Dora, located several hundred miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula. Off the coast of Southwestern Mexico: Satellite data indicate a broad area of low pressure has formed a few hundred miles south of the coast of southwestern Mexico in association with a tropical wave. Although the shower and thunderstorm activity with this disturbance remains disorganized, environmental conditions appear conducive for further development of this system during the next few days. A tropical depression is likely to form over the weekend as it moves west-northwestward or northwestward, parallel to but not far offshore of the southwestern coast of Mexico.
