For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

A low pressure system could form during the next day or so a few 
hundred miles south of the Gulf of Tehuantepec. Only some slow 
development will be possible through Friday while the system moves 
westward at 5 to 10 mph. Thereafter, environmental conditions are 
expected to become less conducive for tropical cyclone formation.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.
