For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

A broad area of low pressure located almost a thousand miles 
southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula is 
producing disorganized shower and thunderstorm activity.  This 
system is forecast to move slowly northwestward at 5 to 10 mph, and 
significant development is not likely since it is expected to reach 
cooler waters on Thursday and Friday.
