For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

A trough of low pressure is producing an area of showers and 
thunderstorms just offshore of the coast of southwestern Mexico. 
Strong upper-level winds are expected to inhibit significant 
development while the system moves slowly northwestward near the 
southwestern coast of Mexico during the next couple of days.
