For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

A trough of low pressure located a couple of hundred miles off the 
coast of southwestern Mexico is producing an area of disorganized 
showers and thunderstorms.  Strong upper-level winds are expected 
to inhibit significant development while the system moves slowly
northwestward parallel to, but just offshore, the southwestern 
coast of Mexico during the next couple of days.
