For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

A tropical wave is producing an area of disorganized showers and 
thunderstorms several hundred miles southwest of the coast of 
southwestern Mexico.  An area of low pressure is forecast to form 
from this system in a few days, and some development is possible 
over the weekend or early next week while it moves toward the 
west-northwest or northwest at 15 to 20 mph.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...30 percent.
