For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

A large area of cloudiness and thunderstorms located several
hundred miles southwest of the coast of southwestern Mexico is
associated with an elongated trough of low pressure.  Environmental
conditions are forecast to be conducive for gradual development, and
a tropical depression is likely to form over the weekend while the
system moves west-northwest to northwest at 5 to 10 mph.
