For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

An area of disorganized cloudiness and showers located several
hundred miles southwest of the coast of southwestern Mexico is
associated with a tropical wave.  Environmental conditions are
forecast to be conducive for gradual development, and a tropical
depression is likely to form over the weekend while the system moves
west-northwest to northwest at 5 to 10 mph.
