For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Cosme, located several hundred miles southwest of the southern
tip of the Baja California peninsula.

An area of low pressure is expected to form several hundred miles
south of the southern coast of Mexico in a few days.  Some gradual
development is possible thereafter while the system moves westward
to west-northwestward.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.
