For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane
Barbara, located about 1200 miles west-southwest of the southern
tip of the Baja California peninsula.

Disorganized showers and thunderstorms located several hundred
miles south of the southern coast of Mexico are associated with a
tropical wave.  Environmental conditions appear conducive for
gradual development of this system, and a tropical depression is
likely to form over the weekend while this system moves westward to
west-northwestward at about 15 mph.
