For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane
Norman, located well east of Big Island of Hawaii, and on Tropical
Storm Olivia, located several hundred miles southwest of the
southern tip of the Baja California peninsula.

A broad area of low pressure is likely to form well south of the
southwestern coast of Mexico in a couple of days.  Environmental
conditions appear to be conducive for slow development of this
system late this week while it moves west-northwestward.
