For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane
Norman, located about midway between the western coast of Mexico
and the Big Island of Hawaii, and on Tropical Storm Olivia, located
about 500 miles south-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja
California peninsula.

A broad area of low pressure could form well south of the
southwestern coast of Mexico in a few days.  Development of this
system, if any, should be slow to occur while it moves
west-northwestward later this week.
