For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Miriam, located about 1200 miles east-southeast of the
Hawaiian Islands, and on recently upgraded Tropical Storm Norman,
located several hundred miles southwest of the southern tip of the
Baja California peninsula.

Disorganized showers and thunderstorms located several hundred miles
south of the southern coast of Mexico are associated with a tropical
wave.  An area of low pressure is forecast to form in association
with this wave over the next day or two, and a tropical depression
could form by early next week while the system moves west-
northwestward or northwestward away from the coast of Mexico.
