Although satellite data indicate that a well-defined surface circulation has not yet formed, environmental conditions appear conducive for additional development, and a tropical depression is likely to form within the next few days while the system moves westward around 10 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...40 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...70 percent.
