For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on recently
downgraded Tropical Depression Gilma, located nearly 1500 miles
west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula.

An area of low pressure could form well southwest of the coast
of Mexico over the weekend.  Some gradual development is possible
thereafter while the system moves westward to west-northwestward
through early next week.
