For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Aletta located several hundred miles southwest of Manzanillo
Mexico.

An area of disorganized showers and thunderstorm centered a few
hundred miles south-southeast of the Gulf of Tehuantepec is
associated with a tropical wave. Upper-level winds are forecast to
become more conducive for development during the next couple of
days, and a tropical depression is likely to form over the weekend
while the system moves westward to west-northwestward off the coast
of southern Mexico.
