Showers and thunderstorms associated with a low pressure area located about 1100 miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula remain disorganized. Environmental conditions are expected to be somewhat conducive for development during the next couple of days, but conditions are forecast to become less favorable later this week while the disturbance moves northward and then northwestward. * Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...40 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...medium...40 percent A tropical wave located well south of the Gulf of Tehuantepec is producing disorganized showers and a few thunderstorms.
