For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

A broad but well-defined area of low pressure is located about 975
miles south-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California
peninsula.  Although the associated showers and thunderstorms
remain disorganized, a tropical depression could still form during
the next few days while the low moves west-northwestward.
