For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane
Norbert, located offshore of the southern tip of the Baja California
peninsula.

An area of low pressure is expected to form a few hundred miles
south of the southern coast of Mexico over the weekend.  Conditions
appear favorable for gradual development of this system early next
week while it moves slowly west-northwestward.
