For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane
Julio, located more than 1400 miles west-southwest of the southern
tip of the Baja California peninsula.

A surface trough located several hundred miles southwest of
Acapulco, Mexico is producing disorganized shower and thunderstorm
activity.  Development of this disturbance, if any, is expected
to be slow while the system moves west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph
during the next few days.
