000 ABNT20 KNHC 240516 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 100 AM EST Sat Nov 24 2018 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: A non-tropical low pressure system that has developed about 200 miles north of the Turks and Caicos is moving north-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph. The low is expected to move northward Saturday morning and turn northeastward Saturday afternoon, followed by a rapid motion toward the east-northeast across the western and central Atlantic on Sunday. Conditions are expected to be only marginally conducive for this low to acquire subtropical characteristics during the next few days before merging with a frontal system by early next week. Regardless of subtropical development, winds to gale force are expected over portions of the western Atlantic, mainly to the north of the low, during the next couple of days, and then spread over the central Atlantic by early next week.
