During the night, the broad area of low pressure over the western Atlantic Ocean has formed a new center a couple of hundred miles north-northwest of Bermuda. While the associated shower activity is poorly organized, there is still some potential for tropical or subtropical cyclone development during the next couple of days as the system moves generally northward.
