Based on 0000 UTC surface analysis and satellite imagery through 0300 UTC. ...TROPICAL WAVES... A tropical wave axis is along 81W north of 01N into Panama, moving west at 15 kt. Scattered moderate convection is noted from 06N to 10N between 80W and 83W. A tropical wave axis is along 116W/117W from 01N to 17N, moving west at 15 kt. Scattered moderate convection is noted from 10N to 13N between 113W and 116W. A tropical wave axis is along 134W from 01N to 18N, moving west at 15 kt. No significant covection is associated with this wave. ...INTERTROPICAL CONVERGENCE ZONE/MONSOON TROUGH... The monsoon trough extends from 11N86W to 12N105W to 10N123W to 08N130W to 09N140W. Scattered moderate convection is noted from 06N to 12N between 81W and 93W, and from 08N to 13N between 107W and 123W. OFFSHORE WATERS WITHIN 250 NM OF MEXICO... Gentle to moderate NW winds prevail across the waters north of 20N with 5 to 6 ft seas west of the Baja California peninsula. Little change in marine conditions is expected during the next few days. Remnant low pressure from TD Nana will pass the Gulf of Tehuantepec on Fri. OFFSHORE WATERS WITHIN 250 NM OF CENTRAL AMERICA, COLOMBIA, and WITHIN 750 NM OF ECUADOR... Moderate to fresh SW winds prevail S of the monsoon trough. Seas are 7 to 9 ft in long-period southerly swell. Moderate to fresh SW winds and Southerly cross-equatorial swell will persist south of the monsoon trough the next several days. REMAINDER OF THE AREA... Gentle to moderate winds prevail north of the monsoon trough. Moderate to fresh southerly flow persists south of the monsoon trough, with areas of 7 to 8 ft seas.
