Based on 0600 UTC surface analysis and satellite imagery through 0830 UTC. ...SPECIAL FEATURES... Tropical Storm Juliette is centered near 23.8N 127.1W at 07/0900 UTC moving W at 10 kt. Estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb. Maximum sustained wind speed is 40 kt with gusts to 50 kt. Deep convection associated to Juliette has decreased significantly, with mainly scattered moderate convection noted from 22N to 25N between 123W and 129W. Juliette will continue to move westward the next several days while weakening. Juliette is currently forecast to weaken to a remnant low early Sun. The axis of a tropical wave is near 102W from 05N to 15N, moving W at 10 to 15 kt. Scattered moderate isolated strong convection is noted from 08N to 12N between 95W and 106W. The axis of a tropical wave is near 117W from 05N to 16N, moving W at 10 to 15 kt. Scattered moderate isolated strong convection is noted from 10N to 14N between 112W and 125W. ...INTERTROPICAL CONVERGENCE ZONE/MONSOON TROUGH... The monsoon trough extends from 09N79W to 09N85W to 08N88W to 10N93W to 10N120W to 12N130W to 11N140W. Scattered moderate isolated strong convection was noted from 07N to 10N between 93W and 98W. Scattered moderate isolated strong convection was noted from 08N to 12N between 130W and 140W. OFFSHORE WATERS WITHIN 250 NM OF MEXICO... A ridge is building west of the Baja California peninsula, with NW to N winds across the offshore forecast waters W of Baja. Winds will strengthen N of Punta Eugenia Sat night through Sun night. Moderate to fresh north winds are expected across the Gulf of Tehuantepec mainly at night during the weekend. Fresh to strong winds will prevail over the northern Gulf of California Sun through Tue. OFFSHORE WATERS WITHIN 250 NM OF CENTRAL AMERICA, COLOMBIA, AND WITHIN 750 NM OF ECUADOR... Moderate to fresh NE to E winds are expected in the Gulf of Papagayo today before diminishing Sun. Elsewhere, mainly light to gentle winds will persist N of the monsoon trough, with gentle to moderate south to southwest winds south of the monsoon trough for the next several days. Long period SW swell will reach the area this weekend with seas in the 5 to 7 ft range across much of the waters. REMAINDER OF THE AREA...
