Tropical Weather Discussion for the eastern Pacific Ocean from 
the Equator to 32N, east of 140W. The following information is 
based on satellite imagery, weather observations, radar, and 
meteorological analysis.

Based on 1200 UTC surface analysis and satellite imagery through 
1545 UTC.

...INTERTROPICAL CONVERGENCE ZONE/MONSOON TROUGH... 

The Monsoon Trough extends from 10N85W to 11N102W to 07N121W
where scatterometer winds indicate that the ITCZ forms and
continues sw to beyond 05N140W. Scattered moderate isolated
strong convection is noted within 240 nm either side of a line
from 05N90W to 10N103W, and within 120 nm either side of a line
from 09N112W 07N137W.

OFFSHORE WATERS WITHIN 250 NM OF MEXICO...

The pressure gradient is relaxing and will support gentle to
moderate northwest winds off the coast of the Baja California
Peninsula through the upcoming weekend with combined seas of
3 to 6 ft in nw swell. 

Gulf of California: Moderate nw flow expected through early Sun 
across the northern gulf waters. Expect light sw flow across the 
entire Gulf of California by late Sun night.

Gulf of Tehuantepec: Light southerly flow expected through the
upcoming weekend. 

OFFSHORE WATERS WITHIN 250 NM OF CENTRAL AMERICA, COLOMBIA, AND 
WITHIN 750 NM OF ECUADOR...

To the n of 07N expect gentle onshore breezes during the day 
becoming offshore along the coasts at night. Combined seas of 4
to 7 ft primarily in sw swell forecast during the next several
days. Moderate southerly expected through the weekend to the s
of 07N, with combined seas of 5 to 8 ft primarily due to long
period s swell.

REMAINDER OF THE AREA...
  
A ridge will meander from near 32N140W to near 12N104W. Fresh n 
to ne winds, and seas of 5 to 8 ft are expected n of 28N through 
early Sun when a relaxing pressure gradient will support 
moderate flow and 4 to 7 ft seas through early Mon. Mostly 
moderate n to ne flow and 4 to 6 ft seas are expected elsewhere 
n of the ITCZ through the weekend.
