The Monsoon Trough extends from 10N85W to 11N102W to 07N121W where scatterometer winds indicate that the ITCZ forms and continues sw to beyond 05N140W. Scattered moderate isolated strong convection is noted within 240 nm either side of a line from 05N90W to 10N103W, and within 120 nm either side of a line from 09N112W 07N137W. ...DISCUSSION... OFFSHORE WATERS WITHIN 250 NM OF MEXICO... The pressure gradient is relaxing and will support gentle to moderate northwest winds off the coast of the Baja California Peninsula through the upcoming weekend with combined seas of 3 to 6 ft in nw swell. Gulf of California: Moderate nw flow expected through early Sun across the northern gulf waters. Expect light sw flow across the entire Gulf of California by late Sun night. Gulf of Tehuantepec: Light southerly flow expected through the upcoming weekend. OFFSHORE WATERS WITHIN 250 NM OF CENTRAL AMERICA, COLOMBIA, AND WITHIN 750 NM OF ECUADOR...
