DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 900 PM MDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Ten-E was located near latitude 17.6 North, longitude 112.9 West. The depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 13 mph (20 km/h) and this general motion with some decrease in forward speed is expected for the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Some strengthening is forecast tonight, and the depression could become a tropical storm by early Monday. However, weakening is expected to begin Monday night or Tuesday morning. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches). HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND ---------------------- None.
