Darby is moving toward the west near 9 mph (15 km/h). A westward or west- northwestward motion at a slightly faster forward speed is expected during the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 100 mph (155 km/h) with higher gusts. Weakening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and Darby is expected to lose hurricane intensity on Monday.
