The depression is moving toward the west near 13 mph (20 km/h), and this motion is expected to continue for the next couple days, followed by a turn to the west-northwest. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Gradual strengthening is forecast, and Celia will likely become a tropical storm on Tuesday.
