DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 300 PM CST (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Terry was located near latitude 8.5 North, longitude 102.6 West. Terry is moving toward the west near 14 mph (22 km/h), and a westward to west-northwestward motion is expected for the next few days. Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts. Some slight additional strengthening is possible during the next day or so. Weakening is forecast to begin by late Tuesday. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 60 miles (95 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
