DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 400 AM CDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Eighteen-E was located near latitude 8.6 North, longitude 95.5 West. The depression is moving toward the west near 14 mph (22 km/h). A westward to west-southwestward motion with a gradual increase in forward speed is expected over the next few days. Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast during the next day or so, followed by slow strengthening by early next week. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1008 mb (29.77 inches).
